What Happens When Your Personality Type Isn’t Soul-Centered?
You know that unsettled feeling… that restlessness that whispers, “There has to be more to my life than this.” Maybe it rises when you’re staring at your career wondering why the ladder you’ve been climbing feels like it’s leaning against the wrong wall. Or maybe it comes at 2AM when you realize you’ve been living for everyone else—family, partner, boss—and not yourself.
It’s not just you. It’s the silent epidemic of women who, like me once upon a time, were taught to perform instead of be. The truth is this: what happens when your personality type isn’t soul-centered can feel like a seven-year life tsunami. I know, because I lived it.
Why the Stakes Are So High
Here’s what I’ve come to believe:
You chose your personality type. It wasn’t random. It’s the exact set of traits, tendencies, and quirks you need for your soul’s evolution. 🌀
But here’s the catch: when your personality type is only defined by outdated, psychological models (from the 1950s mind you)… it stays locked in ego, fear, and performance. Translation? You end up making life’s biggest choices—career, love, purpose—from the wrong compass.
And let’s be honest: if you don’t know who you really are… how can you be fulfilled? How can you feel passion, alignment, purpose?
The truth is—you can’t.
No wonder nearly 97% of people want to change something about their personality (Psychology Today). That’s six billion people trying to rewrite themselves instead of remembering themselves.
You don’t need to reinvent yourself—you need to remember yourself. Transformation isn’t becoming someone new, it’s returning home to who you’ve always been.
The Paradigm Shift: From Personality To Soul-Centered Personality
Traditional personality typing is helpful—but incomplete.
It reduces you to archetypes, boxes, or four little letters. At best, it explains traits. What it doesn’t do is reveal your Truth.
That’s why I created Spiritual Personality Typing℠. It reframes personality as:
Conditioned Self → shaped by fear, ego, trauma, culture (the mask you wear).
Innate Self → your natural-born traits and tendencies (your foundation).
Spiritual Self → the eternal compass that knows your soul path (your True Self).
When you integrate all three, and allow Spirit—not ego—to lead, your personality becomes less about performance and more about possibility.
When your personality type isn’t soul-centered, life feels like a script written by someone else. But when Spirit leads, your truth becomes the author of your story.
My Light Switch Moment
For me, it happened during my own 7-year tsunami. Divorce. Career loss. A thousand small endings that left me scraping myself up off the floor. My most sacred rituals suddenly felt hollow.
Then, during a move, I uncovered an old retreat notebook—pages of raw notes on personality typing. Epiphany after epiphany poured out. That notebook sent me down a soul excavation: Jung, Myers-Briggs, eventually certification as an instructor. But always with one key insight pulsing through me: we cannot stop at psychology. We must integrate Spirit.
💡That became my rescue mantra—and eventually, my evolutionary philosophy; Spiritual Personality Typing. The new thought-theory that helped me remember my truth, rebuild my life, and began living aligned with Divine Intelligence instead of fear.
What Actually Happens When You’re Not Soul-Centered
Without soul integration, personality typing becomes shallow. Here’s the fallout I see (and lived myself):
You’re stuck in the 97% club, always trying to change instead of remember.
You keep replaying the same lessons, patterns, cycles.
You outsource decision-making to others—then wonder why it doesn’t fit.
Your gifts lie dormant because fear, ego, or cultural expectations override them.
Relationships, careers, even diets feel like costumes, not reflections of your soul.
Sound familiar? Then you’ve already felt the cost of a personality that isn’t soul-centered.
The treasures you’ve been searching for aren’t out there in the world—they’re buried within your own traits, waiting to be revealed through Divine Intelligence.
Becoming a 3%’er
Here’s the alternative:
Reframe personality typing with a spiritual lens.
Remember your sacred truths beneath conditioning.
Reveal your authentic self, the WHO of who you are.
Recalibrate by living guided by intuition and Divine Intelligence.
🌺 This isn’t reinvention. It’s revelation. You don’t need a reset—you need to return home to yourself.
Journal Prompt
Are you at a crossroads—career, relationship, empty nest, fresh start?
Ask yourself:
Am I confident enough to choose what’s best for me—not my kids, partner, or culture?
Am I ready to step into the unknown… trusting my Spirit instead of performing my ego?
✍🏻 Write your truths down. Then sit with them. Let them simmer. Every decision begins here.
Final Thoughts
Here’s what I know now: new beginnings don’t come from changing everything about yourself. They come from embodying the self you were designed to be—your True Self. That’s when life flows. That’s when struggle transforms into a sacred rite of passage.
When your personality type is soul-centered, you stop asking, “Who am I?” and start living the truth: “I am already here.”
And if you’re ready to walk this path, I’d love to meet you. The first 15 minutes are always my gift to you.

About Spiritual Personality Typing
My goal is to shift perspectives around MBTI® personality typing—to break free from stereotypes and oversimplifications. Remember, your personality type is sacred. Your persona is just a mask.
It’s my intention that you begin to see your archetype as a sacred tool—an expression of your true self.
Of course, good things in life come to those who do the work. Take responsibility and make personality typing, infused with spiritual understanding, a daily practice. You’ll soon realize that your rational self and your soul self rely on each other to ignite a soulful meaningful life. When you fully embrace this concept, a profound awakening occurs. It moves you closer to your truth, liberating you from a purposeless existence.
You’ll be ready for any occasion, situation, or event—whether it’s travel, relationships, career, passion, or purpose. Ahh, living a meaningful life—isn’t that what we all desire?
