Here are simple fall joys with a spiritual twist. As the air turns crisp and the leaves transform into a vibrant kaleidoscopic of colors, the season invites us to revel in its beauty and reflect on its deeper meanings. This season is more than just a picturesque backdrop for our favorite sweaters, leaf-peeping and pumpkin spice lattes. It’s a time of renewal, reflection, gratitude, and connection to nature. This post helps you dive into the joys of fall season for your Myers-Briggs type, while exploring the spiritual insights this colorful season has to offer.

Simple Joys of Fall

1. Nature’s Palette: One of the most striking joys of fall is the breathtaking display of colors. From fiery reds to golden yellows, the changing foliage serves as a reminder of nature’s beauty and the cycles of life. Take time to venture outside—go for a hike, walk through your neighborhood, or visit a local park. Bring along a sketchbook or camera to capture your favorite scenes, allowing yourself to connect deeply with the environment.

2. Farmers Markets & Fall Festivals: Fall is synonymous with farmers markets, Ah, the fall harvest, a celebration of abundance and community. Farmers’ markets flourish with seasonal produce like apples, pumpkins, and squash. Attend a local harvest festival to enjoy fresh foods, craft stalls, and community gatherings. Consider bringing a friend or family member along to share the experience, making it a joyful event to remember, and share a delicious fall meal.

3. Cozy Gatherings: As the temperatures drop, we naturally seek warmth and comfort. This is the perfect season to host cozy gatherings—think bonfires, potluck dinners, or game nights. Use this time to reconnect with loved ones and express gratitude for their presence in your life. Share stories and create memories that embody the spirit of togetherness.

Simple Fall Joys With A Spiritual Twist & Journal Prompt

1. Gratitude: Fall encourages us to cultivate gratitude. Look back on the year and celebrate what you’ve accomplished. How have you grown?  You may even want to create a gratitude jar—write down things you’re thankful for on slips of paper and place them inside. Over time, this will become a beautiful collection of positivity, a tangible reminder of the good in your life.

2. Embrace Change: Change is a central theme of fall. As nature transforms, so too do we have the opportunity to embrace change within ourselves. This season invites introspection—take a moment to consider what changes you’d like to welcome into your life. Set intentions for personal growth, whether it’s trying a new hobby, deepening relationships, or exploring spiritual practices.

3. Mindful Moments: Spend a few minutes each day in mindfulness. Find a cozy spot outdoors, breathe deeply, and appreciate the sounds, smells, and sights of fall around you. Let this practice ground you and connect you to the present.

4. Seasonal Cooking: Experiment with seasonal recipes using fall ingredients. Try making soups, roasted vegetables, or baked goods like apple pie or pumpkin bread. Cooking can be a meditative process, connecting you to the earth’s bounty.

5. Letting Go: Just as trees shed their leaves, fall inspires us to let go, surrender, and trust. It’s a powerful reminder to let go of the old to make room for the new. A time to reflect on what no longer serves you—habits, fears, or relationships. Consider journaling. Reflect and find meaningful ways to let them go, whether through a symbolic ritual or simply releasing them into the universe.

#Journal Prompt

  • List three things you wish to let go of.
  • Describe how letting go might change your life for the better.
  • Imagine a scene in nature that symbolizes your process of letting go—what does it look like, sound like, and feel like?

Clarity Session

What will work for you? It’s true what they say: “Necessity is the mother of invention.” After sitting on my couch for decades, participating in masterclasses, and working with coaches, I still felt like something was missing. I was struggling—lost without my voice, my vision, and a clear soul-ution in sight.

Then came my life tsunami. It was through embracing spirit-fed teachings along with the psychological tools of Dr. Nix, Ph.D., that I discovered my true calling: Spiritual Personality Typing (SPT). This emerging, contemporary typology serves as a roadmap to your true self, connecting your soul (higher consciousness) with your personality (the soul taking form). Ideal for these transformational times.

SPT combines the wisdom of Carl Jung infused Myers-Briggs with spiritually enriching practices, making it both practical and profound. It represents the full embodiment of the physical and non-physical. I’m excited to share the exact methods I used to navigate my own seven-year journey through chaos. Click here to discover how SPT can transform your life!

A bespoke clarity session may be just what you need to stop merely living your life and start creating the life of your dreams!”

About

Nina Zapala has a passion for making the unconventional, exciting, and unmistakable. She understands the power of patriarchal mediocrity as it showed up in her life as a tsunami, or as she puts it; a bad game of Jenga. It was an unstoppable moment where all of the blocks of her life fell away without a safety net. It was during this time that she removed the patriarchal chains and found her true calling; spiritual personality typing: Myers-Briggs on a permentent spiritual detour.

This new perspective has given me insights and the courage to leap off the proverbial cliff, diving headfirst into my shadow self. With audacity and resilience, I’ve embraced my messy, imperfect self – all of me. In this moment of clarity, magic happened. I discovered what I’d been searching for all along: ME. Not society’s polished version, but the real, unfiltered me—my true self. This revelation sparked a new life. I reinvented myself and wrote a book, channeling my spiritual ENTP energy into a creative rebirth.

I believe wholeheartedly that women want better; we long for a roadmap to get there. Nina’s dedicated to empowering others to discover their own magic so they too can sprinkle a little more joy into the world.
