How to Remove the Layers of False Beliefs from Your Persona?
Over time, we change. We grow. We outgrow certain ideas and ways of being.
But instead of letting go of what no longer serves us, we often add more — more roles, more responsibilities, more beliefs, more “shoulds.”
Without realizing it, we’re stacking new layers on top of the old, outdated ones. The result?
A heavy, crowded identity that doesn’t match the person we’re becoming.
And it’s exhausting.
It’s the reason so many founders don’t resonate with their own brands.
Your stuck in old school paradigms, trying to move forward. It’s like trying to run in quicksand.
True authenticity isn’t about adding more.
It’s about removing what’s no longer true for you.
Authenticity isn’t about becoming more — it’s about unbecoming…shedding what’s no longer true.
How My Own Layers Of False Beliefs Emerged
Years ago, I was standing on stage, accepting one of the most prestigious awards in hospitality.
From the outside, I had “made it.”
From the inside, something felt very wrong. My stomach dropped. My heart wasn’t happy. A quiet, undeniable thought came through from my soul: Is this what you really want?
That moment marked the beginning of my removal process — shedding my fears, false beliefs, and societal “shoulds” that had been running my life for decades.
I had chased awards, status, and possessions believing they would prove my worth. But achievement didn’t create the wholeness I was seeking. Real power — lasting, soul-intuitive power — only came when I started aligning with my true Self.
Why Adding More Isn’t The Answer
We live in a culture that tells us to keep chasing the next thing.
→ More goals. More achievements. More titles.
But if we keep introducing more without removing the false beliefs that no longer fit, we end up creating a life that feels heavy, disconnected, and inauthentic.
Old beliefs like:
“I must prove my worth.”
“If I achieve this, I’ll finally feel enough.”
- “When I meet my performance KPIs I’ll leave my mark.”
…are illusions in disguise. They lead us to build a life that looks right on the outside but feels empty on the inside.
The truth is: Your worth isn’t something you earn — it’s something you remember.
You can’t step into your becoming if you’re still dressed in yesterday’s beliefs.
How To Remove Layers of False Beliefs from Your Persona
Before we dig into the personality types, let’s remember — you are not just your personality type.
You are a multi-dimensional being:
A physical self, rooted in the material world.
An emotional, heart-centered self.
A logical, brain-oriented self.
And—most importantly—a spiritual being having a human experience.
This is why I teach Spiritual Personality Typing — because years of research into Jung–Myers–Briggs, ancient wisdom traditions, and the seismic lessons of my own “7-year life tsunami” have shown me this:
Your higher-conscious soul self speaks through your personality traits. Those traits—when healthy—are not random. They are tools for your soul’s evolution here on Earth.
So take what resonates, leave the rest, and let’s explore each group and how to gently peel away the false beliefs that may be keeping the real you under wraps.
Sensing–Perceiving Personalities
(ESTP, ISTP, ESFP, ISFP)
For you, the world is one big sketchpad — tactile, flavorful, vibrant. You thrive in the here-and-now, using heightened senses to immerse yourself in experiences. You love doing — creating with your hands, seeking adventure, savoring life’s textures, flavors, and colors.
The False Belief to Release: That more stimulation always equals more happiness.
Your joy doesn’t come from rapidly moving to the next event or thrill; it’s amplified when you slow down enough to fully taste the moment you’re already in.
Spiritual Shift: Gratitude for what is right here not only calms the nervous system, it taps your soul into a deep well of clarity. Pleasure at 100% becomes presence. And presence is where your inner wisdom speaks.
Sensing–Judging Personalities
(ESTJ, ISTJ, ESFJ, ISFJ)
Duty. Responsibility. Reliability. They’re not just words to you—they’re part of your DNA. You take pride in being counted on, and you value order and tradition. Sometimes you even shoulder responsibilities that were never meant to be yours.
The False Belief to Release: That if something needs doing, you must be the one to do it.
Yes, follow-through is part of your beauty, but not every duty is sacred. Some are distractions disguised as obligation.
Spiritual Shift: When you focus only on what truly matters to you, clarity blooms. You free yourself from carrying others’ abandoned duties. The real gift? More breathing room for joy, connection, and the people you love most.
Intuitive–Feeling Personalities
(ENFJ, INFJ, ENFP, INFP)
For you, the unseen is as real as the seen. You sense possibilities in every conversation, beauty in what could be, and meaning in the yet-to-unfold. Harmony is a deep need—and sometimes, you work too hard to maintain it.
The False Belief to Release: That your role is to keep everyone happy.
Your compassion is luminous, but over-pleasing can keep others from walking their own evolutionary path.
Spiritual Shift: Even deeply spiritual beings are called to be warriors at times. Conflict isn’t always a destroyer—it’s also an awakener. If you let it, challenge can be the threshold into a richer, deeper truth for everyone involved.
Intuitive–Thinking Personalities
(ENTJ, INTJ, ENTP, INTP)
You are the architect of ideas—drawn to big concepts, abstract systems, and the elegant logic that explains how things work. Visionary, independent, and often skeptical, you believe nearly any obstacle can be out-thought or out-willed.
The False Belief to Release: That sheer willpower and intellect can always solve the problem.
Your mind is brilliant, but when logic becomes a narrow tunnel, even genius can run into a wall.
Spiritual Shift: There is power in the collective we. By softening your grip on rigorous independence and welcoming collaboration, your ideas are potentiated by the genius of the group. The tapestry of elevated thought is richer when woven together.
Your worth isn’t something to achieve — it’s something to remember.
A Closing Perspective for All Types
Removing false beliefs isn’t about abandoning who you are — it’s about realigning your traits so they serve your soul’s journey instead of your fears.
When you approach your personality this way, it becomes less of a label and more of a sacred tool for living your truth. A remembering of your true self.
The more you release what’s not truly yours, the lighter, clearer, and braver you become — and that’s when your highest potential, the characteristically authentic YOU, emerges.
Personality Type Matrix — Removing False Beliefs
Personality Group | Core Strength | False Belief to Release | Spiritual Reframe / Soul Shift |
---|---|---|---|
Sensing–Perceiving (ESTP, ISTP, ESFP, ISFP) | Immersed in the present moment; skilled with hands; experience-driven | “More stimulation always equals more happiness.” | Slow down and savor. Presence turns pleasure into clarity, and clarity opens the door to deeper wisdom. |
Sensing–Judging (ESTJ, ISTJ, ESFJ, ISFJ) | Reliable, duty-driven, structured, trustworthy | “If something needs doing, I have to do it.” | Focus only on what truly matters to you. Hand back what’s not yours and make space for joy and connection. |
Intuitive–Feeling (ENFJ, INFJ, ENFP, INFP) | Visionary, empathetic, meaning-seeker, harmony-driven | “It’s my job to keep everyone happy.” | Release over-pleasing. Conflict can be a sacred threshold, leading to growth and new beginnings for all. |
Intuitive–Thinking (ENTJ, INTJ, ENTP, INTP) | Strategic, big-picture thinker, independent, solution-oriented | “I can solve anything through sheer willpower and logic.” | Loosen the grip on fierce independence. Collaboration with the “collective we” multiplies your genius and impact. |

5 Journal Exercises To Begin The Removal Process
If you want to shed the weight of outdated identities — untruths, false beliefs — and step onto the path of becoming unapologetic, unlimited, and unbounded by what was, these simple journaling exercises can get you started:
1. List your current roles.
Example: mother, entrepreneur, friend, partner, community leader…
2. For each role, ask:
“How am I hoping to serve — from me, you, to the collective we? Be honest. Do you want to serve from love, as a guide to teach or uplift? Or are you still trapped in the false ideas of gaining: security, approval, or control?”
3. Go deeper and ask:
“Why do I want this? Does this belief support my becoming and who I am now, or is it leftover from an earlier version of me?”
4. Circle the outdated ones.
These are the layers you can begin to let go.
5. Ask your True Self:
“If I let go of just one of these outdated roles or beliefs, what space would open in my life — and what would I fill it with?” Be still and listen for the answer — it may come as a word, an image, or a deep feeling. This is your soul showing you the next step in your becoming.
This is not about abandoning responsibility — it’s about releasing the mental and emotional identities you’ve outgrown, so you can move forward lighter and more aligned.
When you stop collecting roles that don’t fit, you make room for the life that does.
Living Your Becoming
As we grow, we’re meant to evolve beyond outdated roles and self-concepts.
Letting go doesn’t mean losing yourself. It means creating space for your next, truer version to emerge.
When you release what’s no longer authentic:
Your clarity sharpens.
Your confidence expands.
Your energy lifts.
You don’t need to change yourself.
You simply need to return to yourself.
Peace is your spirit’s way of whispering: you’re in alignment now.
A Final Word
Life will always invite you to add more.
But before you say yes, ask yourself:
“Am I building on truth, or am I layering over what needs to be released?”
Your becoming isn’t about becoming someone else.
It’s a peaceful revealing of who you’ve been all along.

More About Spiritual Personality Typing
My goal is to shift perspectives around MBTI® personality typing—to break free from stereotypes and oversimplifications. Remember, your personality type is sacred. Your persona is just a mask.
It’s my intention that you begin to see your archetype as a sacred tool—an expression of your true self.
Of course, good things in life come to those who do the work. Take responsibility and make personality typing, infused with spiritual understanding, a daily practice. You’ll soon realize that your rational self and your soul self rely on each other to ignite a soulful meaningful life. When you fully embrace this concept, a profound awakening occurs. It moves you closer to your truth, liberating you from a purposeless existence.
You’ll be ready for any occasion, situation, or event—whether it’s travel, relationships, career, passion, or purpose. Ahh, living a meaningful life—isn’t that what we all desire?
